Mary Ann Mulhern

On Sunday, November 29, 2015, our beloved Mary Ann Mulhern (82) of Bowie, MD passed away after a long illness. Mary is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bernard M. Mulhern, and her children: Maureen (Mulhern) Zeiss and Scott Zeiss, Michael Mulhern, Bernard P. Mulhern, Bridget (Mulhern) Lindsay and James Lindsay, Nora (Mulhern) Alman and Jack Alman, and Eileen Mulhern and her fiancé, Said Louafi. Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Ann Mulhern. She is the loving grandmother of Megan Lindsay, Melissa Lindsay, Brooke Alman, and Jake Alman. Mary is also survived by many other nieces and nephews. Mary was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She was a founding member of St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church in Bowie, MD where she was a member of the church choir. She was an avid BINGO player and lover of all things Irish. She devoted her life to raising her family of seven children, and always put others first. We will miss her dearly. Family and Friends will be received at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 N. W. Crain Hwy (Rt. 3 South), Bowie, MD 20715 on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 2 to 4 and again from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be offered at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 1940 Mitchellville Road, in Bowie, MD 20716 at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 4, 2015. Internment following at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the following organizations in Mary’s name: The American Red Cross and The Salvation Army.
