Please send any condolences to Mr. and Mrs. Frederico Henry, 15711 Presswick Lane, Bowie, Maryland 20716.Ms. Josie Wright, 67, of Bowie, Maryland entered into eternal rest and peace on Wednesday, November 18, 2015. She lived with her father, Allen Henry in Florida; her aunt, Dorothy Waters in New Jersey; and was the beloved daughter of Rosa Lee Henry. She moved to Maryland in August 2008 where she lived with her brother and sister-in-law, Frederico and Lisa Henry. Josie was born in Winterhaven, Florida and was raised in Farmingdale, New Jersey. She attended Ardena Elementary School in Farmingdale, and graduated from high school at Southern Freehold Regional, also in Farmingdale. She attended the Job Corps in Jersey City for a few years after high school.She was a warm, kind, compassionate woman and devoted her life to her church, faith, family, and friends. Over the past few years she also found new friends at both the Bowie Senior Center and Larkin Chase Center retirement home. Her nickname there was the “hat woman” because she had so many hats. She recently won the Halloween costume party because of her passion to have the best hat. We know that the staff and friends will deeply miss her. Josie was survived in death by her brothers Frederico Henry (Bowie, MD), Michael Henry (Winter haven, FL), Brian (Ricky) Henry (Atlanta, GA), Phillip Henry (Winter haven, FL), and sisters Sandra Cuyler (Winter haven, FL), and Kathy Henry (Hyattsville, MD). She leaves cherished memories to her sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other friends and family.In addition: We want to send a very special thanks to Bethel A.M.E. Church in Freehold, New Jersey for the upcoming interment to be held in New Jersey on December 16, 2015.
