Stephen E. Hardin

Stephen E. Hardin, 68, of Bowie died at home on November 12, 2015. Loving husband of Ann for the past 46 years, father of son Stephen, the eldest of four children, he is survived by sister Millie Briles and brothers Ric and Tim Hardin all of Bloomington, Indiana. Steve was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Hilda and Estell on January 14, 1947. The family moved to Bloomington, Indiana where Steve grew up. In 1965, he graduated from Bloomington High School and then attended Indiana University. Steve retired from the Army with 22 years of service including 2 tours in Vietnam and was awarded a Purple Heart. He was a hard working man who enjoyed life with family and good friends. Traveling was one of his pleasures when he was able, as well as, reading articles about motorcycles, cars and various other subjects. He loved being the life of the party and was always quick to tell a joke or a funny story. Friends and family are invited to share their stories, memories and photos of Steve here. A celebration of Steve's life will be held at a later time in Bloomington, Indiana.
