Jeffrey Leo Taylor

Jeffrey Leo was born December 27, 1954 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was the only child of Kenneth L. Taylor and Leola M. Taylor, nee Mitsch. The family moved to Bowie, Maryland in 1963 where Jeff attended several Elementary schools, Belair Junior High, St. Vincent Pallotti High School and graduated from Bowie High School in 1974. He attended classes at the University of Maryland, Howard Community College and Prince George's Community College. He started his career in Computer Science at Goddard Space Flight Center working for Computer Science Corporation, was a systems analyst at Sperry Inc. and a Project Manager for Unisys Inc. before his health challenges required an early retirement. Jeff married his wife, Barbara at St. Pius X Catholic Church May 6, 1978 and raised two children, Christopher and Katherine in Bowie. Jeff was a Thespian Society member and enjoyed entertaining his family and friends. He was a music lover and passed on his theatrical and musical talents to his children. Jeff was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes at the age of 17 then was blessed with a kidney and pancreas transplant in his 30's. This gift of donated organs from a stranger extended his life by 22 years. His family is forever grateful for those years. Jeff is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean (Burns) Taylor, son Christopher Eric Taylor, daughter Katherine Ann (Taylor) Petix, son-in-law Stephen and many cousins in Minnesota.
