On Wednesday October 28, 2015, our loving mother, Eileen T. Trimble of New Carrollton, entered into eternal rest. Eileen was the daughter of Timothy and Katherine McCarthy (deceased). She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence G. Trimble, her daughter Kathleen A. Tate, and her sons Dennis M. and Lawrence R. Trimble. Eileen leaves behind, to cherish her memory, 11 children, Patricia (David) Hoffnagle, Sharon (John) Radowich, Therese (Alan) Prosise, Mary (Joseph) Catalano, Timothy (Gail) Trimble, Joseph Trimble, Margaret (Gregg) Walker, Bernadette Trimble, Brian (Lisa) Trimble, Robert (Julie) Trimble, and Christine (Suzanne) Trimble, a loving and caring "daughter" Maria Perrotta, 22 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren. Eileen was born in Boston, MA, the fourth of ten children. She attended school in Dorchester, MA and spent summers in Magnolia, MA. During WWII, she proudly worked as a welder on LST's in the Boston shipyard. She was married at age 21 and widowed at age 47. No stranger to adversity, Eileen had an indomitable spirit and was an inspiration to all who knew her. Her generosity knew no bounds, she was devoted to her family, and always a joy to be around. Christmas was a special time for Eileen, whose tree was adorned with hundreds of angels given to her by family and friends. For 30 years she graciously purchased White House Christmas ornaments for all those dear to her. She was the centerpiece of our family, a true matriarch with a great wit and a great sense of humor and rock solid faith. She made everyone who met her feel loved and special. Her smile and her laughter will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as she has left an indelible imprint on all our hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD, 21122; For Mandrin Inpatient Care Center
