Sue B. Fleming

Sue B. Fleming, age 71, Bowie, MD. Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday September 26, 2015. Born October 12, 1943 to the late Frederick and Alice Beyer from Marysville, PA. Sue graduated from Polyclinic Hospital as an x-ray technician in 1963. Married Ronald Fleming from Rockhill Furnace, PA on April 18, 1964. Sue owned her own furniture upholstery business in Lanham, MD for 27 years. She loved spending time with family and time at her family cabin. She is survived by her brother Frederick Jackson Beyer (and wife Ginny) of Buffalo, NY; a daughter, Lisa (and husband Mark) of Ellicott City, MD; a son, Steve (and wife Nicole) of Laurel, MD; 4 grandchildren, Joshua, Kayla, Dominic and Vincent. She was preceded in death by her sisters Lucy Beyer and Carol (and husband Edward Jr.) Johnston. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday October 1st, 2015 at Martin Brown Funeral Home 565 Ridgley St. Orbisonia, PA 17243. There will be a viewing at 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial immediately following at I.O.O.F. Oddfellow Cemetery. Memorial Celebration for those local in Maryland on Monday October 12th at 2:00 pm at Holy Cross Lutheran Church 6905 Greenbelt Road Greenbelt, MD 20770. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
