Lauren M. Davey

Lauren was born on November 26, 1980 at Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, MD. She was the daughter of Ralph Davey and the late Helen Roberta Larkin Stover. Growing up, Lauren loved playing with her cousins and friends, playing with her GI Joe figures, watching Disney movies, watching cartoons, reading comics and Manga comics, playing video games, and drawing - particularly in anime style. She also liked going to the beach, and trips to theme parks. In grade school, she lived in Forestville, MD, with her Dad, then moved to Scott Depot, WV where she attended middle school and high school - graduating from Hurricane High School in 1998. In July 1998, she joined the Army and completed her basic training at Fort Jackson. She was also stationed at Fort Gordon and Fort Meade. She proudly served her country for 6 years while learning to work on computers which led to her being a network engineer working at Fort Meade. For the last 8 years, she's been in a loving relationship with Brittany Stergiou living in Columbia and Gambrills, MD with their kitties. She is survived by her partner Brittany; brothers, Brian Newman, Nicholas Buchanan, Marcus Workman, Michael Workman; grandmother Georgiana Larkin; father Ralph Davey; mother Cathy Davey; 'moms' Nichole and Karen Kurkowski, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Brandon Larkin.
