George A. Virvan On Saturday, July 11, 2015, of Bowie, MD. Loving father of Greg Virvan, Daria Virvan, and Barbara Galuska and her husband Scott; devoted grandfather of Alexandra and Kristen. He was the husband of the previously departed Tekla Virvan, and brother of the previously departed Mary Sukanick, Helen Goodrich, and Anna Curran. The family will receive friends at the Beall Funeral Home in Bowie, MD, on Wednesday, July 15 from 6 to 8 pm, with a Parastas service at 7 p.m. The Office of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 16 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gregory of Nyssa Byzantine Catholic Church, 12420 Old Gunpowder Spur Road, Beltsville, MD 20705. Interment to follow at Cathedral Gardens, 6480 Elibank Drive, Elkridge, MD 21075. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Gregory of Nyssa Byzantine Catholic Church.
