Harry Joseph Guerrieri, Jr.

On Friday, June 12, 2015, of Centreville, MD, originally of Wilpen, PA; He was a graduate of St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA and George Washington Law School in Washington, DC. Started his career in Army Intelligence, then had a 35+ year career at the Pentagon, for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, retiring as Chief of Security for the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He was an amazing father and grandfather who enjoyed entertaining, cooking, dancing, MCing events, working on anything in the garage, and keeping a beautiful home. He was a 46 year member of the Suburban Lions Club. A beloved husband of Millie L. Guerrieri; loving father of Angela, Kevin (Gale) and Brian (Raquel); dear grandfather of Ava, Christian and Fernando. Family will receive friends and family at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy, (Rte 3 South), Bowie, MD on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from Noon to 2 p.m., with funeral service following at 4pm, also at BEALL. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, family and friends are welcome to make a donation to the MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. This is where Mr. Guerrieri was treated for cardiac and oncology issues over the years. He and his family spent a lot of time there.
