Marty Knepp

This is a quick note about one incredible guy, Marty Knepp. On Thursday, April 30th, Marty Knepp left this earth to be with his Lord and Savior. He leaves behind a legacy as a great father, husband, friend, musician and teacher. Marty's music background started at Arundel high school under the direction of Dr. Phil Butts. He has a degree from Shenandoah conservatory of music. He played both drums and vibes in many groups around the Washington/Baltimore area. He also taught at Anne Arundel Community College, and taught lessons in jazz, big band, clinics and session work. Marty is creating peace and groove in heaven's throne room, because his passion was always music. As he always said, "A groove is a terrible thing to waste". Peace and groove to you all!
