On Wednesday, March 11, 2015, of Crofton, MD. Beloved husband of JoAnn McCardell; loving father of Sean R. McCardell-Nichols and Erin A. McCardell-Nichols; dear brother of Patricia E. Nichols and Mary Beth Garcia. He was a Vietnam Veteran and an avid boater, fisherman, and golfer. He was a prominent business executive in the self-storage and retail industries. Family will receive friends at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1800 Seton Dr., Crofton, MD on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 10am. Interment, Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
