Buddy Neil Primm, 83, of Bowie, MD died February 15, 2015 at the Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. Born September 3, 1931 in Iron Station, North Carolina, Buddy was a long time resident of Bowie. His Childhood and teenage years were spent in Davidson, NC. Excelling at academics in High School, he earned a full scholarship, graduating from Davidson College, with a BA in History in 1955, stretched out by a 2 year tour in the Armed Services. He moved to the Washington, DC area to continue his education, receiving a Master's Degree from George Washington University, before meeting his beloved wife, Patricia Primm in 1959. They married January 21, 1961. Buddy had a stellar career working for the Federal Government, retiring in 1995. He was a devoted family man, spending every possible moment with loved ones. He was very active in his local church, often found serving as an usher. He was a Gentlemen, showing love and compassion. He enjoyed traveling, eating out, movies, reading magazines, talking politics, and was an avid sports fan. He is survived by his son, Tony Primm of Reading, PA; one granddaughter, Dianna; one aunt/sister, Evelyn; and three cousins, Joyce, Gail, and Genie. The memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 21 at the Christian Community Presbyterian Church (CCPC), 3120 Belair Drive, Bowie, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the CCPC or to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
