Albert A. Ridgely

Albert Austin "Bunky" Ridgely (age 83) passed away peacefully in his sleep February 15, 2015. Al was born in Upper Marlboro, Maryland on August 24, 1931 to the late Charles Edward and Marie Christine Ridgely. Al is the brother of Marie "Sissie", Marcella "Kitty", Joycelyn "Joycie", David, Tim, and Fred Ridgely and the late Charles "Buddy", Michael, Francis, Genevieve "Tommy", Delores "Doy Ann" and Gregory Ridgely. He graduated from Marlboro High School in 1949. He married Marie Eslin on May 16, 1953. They were married 57 years before he lost her on June 8, 2010. He proudly served his country as a Printer Seaman with the United States Navy during the Korean War. He served on the USS Piedmont, and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan; San Diego, CA; San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA. Al and his wife Marie owned and operated a retail business, Ridgely Office Supply & Printing, in Upper Marlboro, MD for over 25 years. He is survived by his two children, Charles Raymond Ridgely and Nancy Cathleen Ridgely. He will be dearly missed by all.
