Joan I. Coyle

On Wednesday, February 11, 2015, of Crofton, MD. Born and raised in Manhattan, she graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and was voted Miss Page One during her tenure with the Daily Mirror. She settled with her family in Crofton, MD, in 1968, where she served as President of the Crofton Association of Retired Persons for two terms and remained until her death. Beloved wife of the late George Coyle, Sr.; loving mother of George Coyle, Jr. (Elizabeth), Barbara Dewan (William), Jane Garwood (Stuart), and Joan Kelley (Joseph); dear grandmother of 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Monday, February 16, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1800 Seton Dr., Crofton, MD on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, MD.
