Robert P. Gosheff

Robert P. Gosheff, 89, died Sunday, February 8, 2015 at his home in Gambrills, MD. Mr. Gosheff was born June 11, 1925 in Youngstown, OH to Slavko and Hilda (Beck) Gosheff, where he was a 1943 graduate of Chaney H.S. He served during WWII in the Army Air Force 101st and 82nd airborne divisions, attaining the rank of Sergeant. Robert and his brother, Richard, were farmers in Gambrills until their retirement. He was the beloved husband to his wife of 54 years, Geraldine "Dolly" Gosheff. Robert and Dolly were members of Trinity Lutheran Church. Robert is survived by a large and loving family. Father of Emily Klein, Robert E. Gosheff (Michele), Betsy Scible (J. Mark), and Sheila Fogarty; brother of Hilda Stinchcomb, Mary Lou Pearson, and the late Richard Gosheff; also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly. Family will receive friends at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm. A funeral service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6600 Laurel Bowie Rd., Bowie, MD on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 11:00am. Interment, First Lutheran Cemetery.
