Darby McNeill

Darby Lee McNeill, Jr. On January 26, 2015, Darby Lee McNeill (59)of Gambrills, MD, departed this life after a long illness. Mr. McNeill was a long time resident of, and has many ties to the Bowie area. He was an active member of The Sons of The American Legion Post 66 for more than 20 years. He was a proud member and commander of the award winning Post 66 American Legion Honor Guard. He will be greatly missed by his loving and devoted wife Elaine McNeill (McDonald), son William (Bill) and wife Kim McNeill, and three granddaughters; Lonna, Sabrina and Tiffany McNeill. Also mourning his passing are sisters Debi Clark (Joe), Donna Burriss (Tommy), brother Matt Jaje (Jen) and dad Ted Jaje. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and an abundance of friends. Mr. McNeill was preceded in death by his sister Dody McNeill and mother Joan Jaje. Visitation for family and friends will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 31, with a short service taking place at 2:00 PM.
