Mary " Mimi" Ellen Klenkel

Mary Ellen "Mimi" Westbrook Klenkel, 67 Of Bowie, MD entered into eternal peace on January 18, 2015. Beloved grandmother of twenty and great-grandmother of four. She is survived by her six step-children, Louanne Dancy (Tom), Phil (Shannon), Gary (Carren), Pete (Janet), Heidi Hilend and Noelle Depperschmidt; and niece, Tracy Teagan. Mimi was preceded in death by Captain Louis A. Klenkel, husband of fourteen years, whom she met during their career with American Airlines. She was also preceded by both of her parents and her brother of Warren, OH. Mrs. Klenkel was a devoted neighbor and friend to many in the Bowie Community. A memorial service was held at 7:00pm on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the Catholic Student Center, 4141 Guilford Drive, College Park, MD 20740. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made in her name to the American Society for the Prevention and Cruelty to Animals and mailed to ASPCA Tributes, 520 8th Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10018.
