Kathleen Evelyn Sterling Garvin

Kathleen Evelyn Sterling Garvin, 91 Of Dunkirk, MD, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at home. Wife of the late Harry O. Garvin and mother of the late Harry O. Garvin, Jr. She is survived by Pamela Jane Metcalfe (Jack), Ronald Eugene Garvin (Joan), Wanda Miller (Michael, deceased) and Debra Knuth. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was born in Colony Virginia August 4,1923 and has resided in the Washington area since 1952. She worked as a local real estate agent and broker until 1990. She was an active and much loved member of Village Baptist Church since 1971. Family and friends will be received at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Highway, Bowie MD, on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 6 to 9pm. The service will be held at Village Baptist Church, 1950 Mitchellville Rd, Bowie MD on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 12noon. Interment private.
