Robert Powell, Sr.

Robert G. Powell ("Bob"), loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. Was a resident of Upper Marlboro, died Friday, December 5, 2014, at the age of 85. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, June G. Powell; five sons, Stanley Powell of Frederick, Robert Powell, Jr. of Dunkirk , Stephen Powell , John Powell, Douglas Powell of Upper Marlboro; three daughters, Brenda Lilly of Davidsonville, Linda Pavel, Rebecca Knight of Upper Marlboro; and one sister, Peggy Loisel of Cheverly. Also survived by 21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Highway, Bowie, Maryland. Services will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Beall Funeral Home, followed by Internment at Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
