Barbara V. Connolly

Barbara V. (Hughes) Connolly, formerly of Bowie, Maryland and Wilmington, Mass., passed away October 13th in Lansing, Kansas after a long illness. She was 79 years old. The cherished daughter of the late William and W. Doris (Nickerson) Hughes, Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Glen E. Connolly, devoted mother of Beth L. Reschke and her husband Michael of Ft. Leavenworth, KS, and loving "Grannie" of Steven F. Dzidek, Jr. of Warner Robins, GA. She is also survived by five brothers and sisters, as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Beall Funeral Home in Bowie, Maryland on Tuesday, October 21st, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. There will also be calling hours at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc. 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington, Massachusetts on Saturday, October 25th, from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m., immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. and interment at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington, Mass. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in Barbara's name may be made to the Home for Little Wanderers, Development Dept., 10 Guest Street, Boston, MA 02135. Barbara served as past Matron for the Acacia Chapter #80 Order of the Eastern Stars.
