Chloe L. "Billie" Simmons

Simmons, Chloe L. "Billie" age 85 of Hyattsville, MD formerly of Orlean, VA passed away on Monday, September 22, 2014. Daughter of the late Otha J. and Lady Lee Hackley of Orlean, Virginia. Wife of the late Cargel E. Simmons, Sr. Survived by a son Cargel E. "Gene" Simmons, Jr. and his wife Patricia A., daughter Kathryn F. Grant and her husband Louis L. both of Bowie, MD, grandson Raymond E. and his wife Sarah E., great granddaughters Anna Faith and Rosalie Patricia Simmons of Prince Frederick, MD and a sister Lucille Hoppa of Waldorf, MD. Chloe was also preceded in death by her brother James Hackley and step-brother Howard Glascock. Chloe is survived by many other relatives and friends. She was a graduate of Marshall High School Class of 1947. After graduating from High School Chloe moved to Washington DC. and later to Hyattsville Maryland where she had been a resident for over 65 years. A visitation will also be at Greenbelt Baptist Church 101 Greenhill Road Greenbelt, Maryland on Saturday September 27th from 10AM to 11AM where services will be held at 11AM with Pastor Mike Christ officiating.
