Sue Glasier was well known in the Bowie area as a kind and popular local barber/hairdresser. She thoroughly enjoyed her profession, where she developed many bonds and friendships with her customers. She last worked at Town and Country Barbershop and prior to that, she owned her own shop at Hilltop Plaza. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, and was active in the Korean American Wives Club. She had six children, four with her husband Wendell: Chris, Lisa, Michael and Mark. She had fourteen grandchildren. After Sue was diagnosed with non-smokers lung cancer in 2012, her husband Wendell dedicated his time and energy in helping Sue with her cancer battle. She was touched by the love and support from her friends and family. After a lobectomy, many chemo treatments and participation in various clinical trials, the cancer remained and spread. Sue passed away on August 29th. She was 73 years old.
