Robert Donald Hindle, Sr. of Bel Air, Maryland passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 19, 2014. Robert was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late James Hindle and Laura (Bouldin) Hindle on August 7, 1943. He was a letter carrier and then became a Supervisor for the United States Postal Service. Robert served his country in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1968. He enjoyed his time with his family camping and going on cruises with his wife, Joy. He was gifted mechanically and was able to fix just about anything with his hands. Robert loved his late Husky dog, Wolf, and is survived by his Golden Retriever dog and friend, Marley. Robert is survived by his wife, Joy (McSorley) Hindle of 21 years, children - AnnMarie Popp, Linda Hindle, James Hindle and Robert Hindle, Jr., grandchildren - Christopher Hindle, Ryan Hindle, Abbigail Popp, Nicholas Popp, Maya Hindle, William Hindle, sisters - Tootsie and Betty, and brothers - James, Edward and Bucky. Robert is also the brother to the late Ann, Birdie and Bill. Family will receive family and friends at a Memorial Service in Robert's honor at Bel Air Church of The Nazarene, 2430 Conowingo Road, Bel Air, Maryland 21015.
