Nancy L. Lehman

January 18, 1951 — July 20, 2014

Born in Washington DC on January 18, 1951 Nancy L. Lehman began her journey through life. Nancy was one of three daughters to Joseph and Edna Rouco. Joesph and Edna raised their three children to value family, be generous and to maintain an infectious sense of humor. Nancy graduated from Northwestern High School in 1969. She married Ray Rose in 1972 and gave birth to two daughters and a son by 1978. Following Ray's death in 1979, Nancy selflessly raised their three children whom she was very proud of while working as a Nurse. All of her children earned college degrees and are successful in their own right due to Nancy's plentiful guidance, love and support. In 2003 Nancy married Clyde Lehman of Bowie, MD. Together they traveled all over the United States, enjoyed her eight grandchildren and maintained a healthy social life. Nancy was always the life of the party, constantly played games with her grandchildren, spent countless hours assisting her children in their lives, loved her sisters dearly and impacted many friends' lives in positive ways. She never talked negatively about anyone, loved animals and was beloved by everyone she touched. The world was a better place with Nancy in it and her family is grateful for the time they had with her. Nancy is survived by her husband (Clyde), sisters (Tina Helms and Linda Viens), children and their spouses (Carmen and Chris Graves, Stephanie and Brian Phillips, Joe and Jen Rose), step daughter (Amanda Lehman) and eight grandchildren (Brent, Brodie, Colin, Makenzie, Lance, Brendan, Sienna and Kayla).
