Of Bowie, MD, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 54 years to Esther Staats; brother of Virginia (Russell) Beard of Bridgeville, DE; loving father of the late Fran (John) Grondalski, Dianne (Tony) Stettler, Paula (Pat) Wood, and Darlene Batchelor; proud PopPop of Patrick, Chris, Pamela, Alex, Heather, Kristi, Paige, and Jackie. Family will receive friends on Wednesday June 25, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy.
