Anthony M Valeo

Valeo, Anthony Michael, age 61, of Bowie, passed away Saturday June 7, 2014. His long battle with renal failure ended at home, surrounded by the people he loved. He is survived by his wife Edna, his sister Patty Merkel, his niece Kelly Ross, and his nephews Jonathan Merkel and Jason Valeo. Tony had no children, however, he had a positive impact on the lives of thousands of children in the Bowie area during his 40 years as co-owner, operator of Tom Thumb Day Nursery. He loved and respected Edna's family as his own. He is truly missed. There will be a casual memorial service at his home on Thursday June 12, 2014 at 6:30. All friends and family are invited.
