Frederick Norman Tate

Frederick "Freddie" Tate was the first of 4 children born to Cora & Frederick Earl Tate at Providence Hospital in Washington DC. He grew up in loving christian home in the town of Landover Hills with his siblings Walter, Richard & Cheryl Tate. As his love for the Lord grew stronger, so did his love for his country and served in the Navy Reserves from 1961-1966. Afterwards he met and married his loving wife Mary "Sherry" Tate and celebrated 39 years together. He was also a devout supporter of the Baltimore Ravens. He and his wife attended Woodlawn Christian Fellowship together where they grew in their walk with the Lord with their church family. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a love for the Lord that was shared with anyone that would listen. He will be dearly missed, but we are happy he is with his saviour now.
