Mary Margaret (Hochreiter) Keough, of Ocean City, N.J., formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2014. She was 88 years old. Mary was born to the late Christian and Mary Margaret Hochreiter, on September 23, 1925, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was a member of the first graduating class of Little Flower High School in 1943. She married the love of her life, William J. Keough in 1951, and they made their home in Philadelphia. Mary helped Bill out at his flower shop for many years. In addition, she was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cheltenham, before she and Bill relocated to Ocean City, NJ, in 1986. Prior to that they vacationed there for over 20 years. Mary is survived by her loving husband Bill, her four daughters: Anne Marie (Jim) Kirk, of Jacksonville, Florida; Eileen (David) Samuels, of Southport, North Carolina, Mary Frances (Ed) of Maple Valley, Washington, and Kathleen (Mike) Groody, of Crofton, Maryland, along with eight grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Hochreiter (Dee), and brother -in-law, Cliff Brenner, preceded in death by her sister Joan Brenner. A special Mass and celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on August 2, 2014 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, located at 2nd & Atlantic Avenue in Ocean City, New Jersey, Mary's favorite place.
