My mother's life was spent trying to prevent others from experiencing the hardship into which she was born. She cared for herself last. She forgave everything and never held a grudge. But she was no wallflower. She loved to laugh, and dance, and carry on. It is unlikely she knew in life just how many people loved and admired her. She was a champion of everything she stood for. Her generosity and selflessness are something to which we could all aspire.
