Angela Zades

On Sunday, January 19, 2014, Angela Zades (nee Kiriazoglou), of Catonsville, MD passed away peacefully. She was extremely active in the Greek Community and was famous for her Dolmades at the Greek Festivals. Angela was a founding member of the Golden Age Club and was a member of the Daughters of Penelope and the Philoptochos Society. She was the beloved wife of the late Alexander Zades; loving mother of Mary Coutros and her husband Bill, Carol Vatakis, and Stacie Aspiote and her husband George; dear grandmother of six grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; sister of the later James Andrew and George Kiriazoglou. Family will receive friends at Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Ave, Catonsville, MD on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm, with a Trisaghion Service at 7:30pm. Mrs. Zades will lie-in-state at the Chapel of the Holy Resurrection in the Greek Orthodox Cemetery, 5917 Windsor Mill Road, Baltimore, MD on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 10:30 to 11:00am, and a funeral service will follow at 11:00am. Interment, Greek Orthodox Cemetery.
