Joseph Allen Wellman Jr., 22, also known as "Wheels", died January 20. Born April 18, 1991, Joey attended Shadyside Elementary, Edgewater Elementary, and Central Middle, Tasker Middle, and graduated from Bowie High in 2009. Joey enjoyed Karokee every Thursday and Friday nights. He was a "Redskin fan and Oriole Fan." He enjoyed WWE Wrestling and watched it everyday. He is survived by his mom Karen Wellman of Bowie; dad, Joseph Wellman Sr. of Grasonville; grandmother, Ruth Sansbury of Lothian; grandfather, James K. Armiger of Annapolis; great-aunt, Rosie Sherman of Annapolis; two sisters, Jamie Thomas of Annapolis and Morgan Marshall of Bowie; nieces and nephews. Shayne Thomas of Annapolis. Grayson Thomas of Annapolis, Navaya Thomas of Annapolis; uncles, Kenny Armiger of Annapolis, Jimmy Wellman of Millersville, John Wellman of Annapolis , Rusty Wellman of Huntingtown, Jamie Wellman of Pasadena, Jay Wellman of Kansas; aunts, Kathi Armiger of Annapolis, Janice Wellman, Jeanine Wellman, Michelle Wellman, Donna Wellman, Beckey James of TX, Ruth Childers, Mike Johnson of Brooklyn, Julie Darby of Annapolis, Chris Admitis of Catonsville. Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m., Friday, January 24 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1300 West St., Annapolis. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in memory of Joey at the "National Kidney Foundation"
