Clayton Edward Williams Jr. March 27, 1939 - January 14, 2014 After a brief two month battle with brain cancer Clayton passed away peacefully at his home in Haymarket, VA. Clayton was born and raised in Washington, DC and graduated from McKinley Tech High School. After graduation in 1957, Clayton took a job with the CIA where he worked until 1994. After living in Lanham, MD and Warrenton, VA, Mr. Williams retired to Conway, SC. He moved to Haymarket, VA in 2011. Mr. Williams was the only child of the late Clayton E. Williams Sr. and the late Evelyn Redmond Simonds. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Kay McDonald Williams, his four children and 10 grandchildren. Mr. Williams was a devoted family man and will be lovingly remembered by all including his son Edward L. Williams, his wife Susanne and their three sons Edward, Michael and Joseph; his son David C. Williams, his wife Connie and their three sons Thomas, Bryan and Chad; his son Stephen D. Williams, his wife Cindy and their daughter Rachel and son Ryan; his daughter Donna Kay Hill, her husband Brian and their son Karsten and daughter Reese. Mr. Williams enjoyed playing golf, bowling and most all, spending time with his wife and family. A viewing will be held on Friday, January 17 from 11:00 to 1:00 pm at Beall Funeral Home, located at 6512 Crain Highway in Bowie, MD. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1300 Bladensburg Road NE, Washington, DC. Should friends and family desire, contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
