ADAM J BOWEN passed away on Friday, January 10, 2014. He is the beloved son of Albert H. Bowen, Jr and Brenda; brother of Nicole Truitt; Uncle of Isaiah Merrill and MaryJane Truitt; Grandson of Ralph and Dotsy Nusbaum, of Fort Wayne, IN; preceded in death by his beloved Grandparents, Grandma Phyllis D. Baker Nusbaum, as well as Albert H. Bowen, Sr. and Caroline Barth Bowen, of Reading, PA; and several family members and friends gone too soon from our lives. Adam is survived by a host of loving relatives, friends and military veterans. Family will receive guests at the BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 3 pm to 5 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted with full military honors at the Cheltenham United Methodist Church, 11111 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 8:30am, immediately followed by interment in Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions in Adam's name made to the Wounded Warrior Project, (www.woundedwarriorproject.org), an organization that provides services to our American Servicemen who are injured while serving their country, or to the Cheltenham United Methodist Church community service program, address listed above.
