Regina Freit

Regina Freit died peacefully on Thursday, January 9, 2014 with her family close at hand, at Crofton Care in Crofton MD. She was born on June 8th 1919 in Lakewood New Jersey, graduated from HS in 1937, and was Married to Edward Freit in 1940. Regina attended Georgian Court College and enjoyed oil painting. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lakewood and retired from her secretarial position with the Lakewood school system in 1984. Regina moved to the Chase Home in Annapolis MD in 2004 and lived briefly at Autumn Meadows in Gambrills, MD. Her joy in life was in loving her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Eric Freit, Sr. Surviving are her two sons, Edward Eric Freit, Jr. of Gambrills, MD and Robert Freit of Whiting, NJ and his wife Katherine; her daughter, Regina Warren of Arnold MD; Six grandchildren, Edward Eric Freit, III, Dawn Freit, Clinton Freit, Richard Freit, Robert Freit, and Alexis Arizzi; and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy, Rt 3 South, Bowie, MD on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lakewood New Jersey at a later date.
