Rosemary English-Arredondo

On January 5, 2014, Rose English-Arredondo peacefully passed away, surrounded by her husband, son and family members. She was a loving, devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt. Rose was very active in community theater. She was very passionate about her work and her enthusiasm provided motivation and encouragement to all those she worked with. Since 2002, when her son was cast in Prince George's Little Theater's "On Golden Pond", Rose worked tirelessly with PGLT on over a dozen productions; making props, stage managing, producing, directing, and everything in-between. Often, Rose personally designed and made costumes, which were used by local theaters and entertainment groups alike. She also worked on many productions with the Cheverly Young Actors' Guild, Bowie High School, St. Mark's players, Bowie Community Theater, and the Prince Georges' Summer Teen theater. In addition to her husband, Eddie and son, Lucas, Rose is survived by six siblings and numerous nephews and nieces who reside in the Boston area. Friends may pay their respects to Rose at the Beall Funeral Home, 6512 N.W. Crain Highway (Route 3 South), Bowie, MD 20175. Calling hours are Friday, January 10, 2014 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM with a service at 7 PM. She will then be laid to rest in her home state of Massachusetts.
