Benjamin L. Beall,79, of Upper Marlboro, MD, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 30,2013 surrounded by his family. He was born in Washington DC to William Leo Beall and Edith Mae Beall on March 5, 1934. Benjamin is survived by his daughter Joyce Haden, son-in-law William Haden, grandson Joshua Haden, step grandchildren William Haden Jr., Stacie Haden, Christine Haden, and Eric Haden, stepson Robert Estes and family, sister Shirley Trudeau and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 26 years, Frances Beall, 2nd wife of 18 years, Margaret Beall, father, William; mother, Edith; brothers, William, John, George, Joseph, Robert; and sisters, Edith and Marion, and stepson Kenneth Estes. Benjamin worked as a tree trimmer his entire life. Retired from Prince Georges County in 1983. He was honored for his dedicated service to the county in 1982 before his official retirement. Additionally, in 1981,he was selected to represent Prince Georges County in a ceremony held in Suitland Maryland to welcome home 52 American citizens that were held hostage in Iran, an honor of which he was proud. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his friends and family.
