Tom Jurney, 76, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 30, 2013. Born in Portsmouth, Virginia on September 5, 1936 to Spencer H. Jurney, Sr. and Margaret Julia Klein, he served honorably in the United States Air Force for 23 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Thekla D. Jurney; his daughter, Kimberly J. Hansen; his grandchildren, Alexandra B. and Garrett J. Hansen; his brother, Spencer H. Jurney, Jr.; his sister, Mary M. Phares; and several nieces and nephews.
