Beloved husband of the late Betty Jones; father of Bill Jones (Maggie), Brenda Schlientz and her husband Steve, Dianne Lloyd and her husband Mark, and the late Robert "Buzz" Jones, Jr.; father-in-law of Linda Jones; brother of the late Claggett A. Jones; grandfather of Ryan, Lindsey, David, McKenzie, Rob, and the late Billy; and loving friend of Phyllis MacKenzie. Family will receive friends at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 6 to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1800 Seton Dr., Crofton, MD on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 10am. An interment service with Military Honors will be held in the chapel at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Rd., Crownsville, MD on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 1:45pm.
