Rebecca N. DeMeo

Rebecca DeMeo, 71, of Bowie, MD, passed away on August 5th, in her home of 45 years surrounded by her family. Born February 7th, 1942 in Bronx, New York, to Maria and Candido Noriega, she is predeceased by her son, Joseph Richard and brothers Arnaldo and Candido Jr. Becky was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who was cherished by her family and friends. She was a dedicated servant and member of the United Parish of Bowie for nearly 40 years, including Treasurer for many years. She enjoyed her time with close friends, active in volleyball, bowling leagues, South Bowie Women's Club, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Joseph DeMeo; daughter Lisa Thatcher and husband Scott of Oak Hill, VA; grandchildren Sarah, Julia and Anna; and siblings Gilbert Noriega, Claudius Noriega, Elizabeth Comitino, Miriam Morris, Gilda Villarroel and Sonia Danner.
