Patty-Bo Davis, of Catonsville, Maryland died May 14, 2013. She was born Patty-Bo Harvie in Brenham, Texas on October 4, 1927. She moved to the Boston, Massachusetts area in 1928 and remaining there until 1955. She became an acrobatic dancer and performed for several years at social clubs in Boston with her parents, where her mother was an accomplished story teller and her father was an outstanding tenor and musician. Patty-Bo attended elementary schools in Quincy, MA and graduated from North Quincy High School in 1945. In 1946, she graduated from Boston Secretarial School. She also attended and received an Associate's Degree from Boston University in 1948. Patty-Bo worked at Boston Public Library for one year before being employed as an assistant to a prominent Boston Management Consultant. In 1954, she married William P. Davis in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Patty-Bo's greatest joy was being a wife to Bill and mother to Kethney and Kam. She poured her heart into her family and was known to organize parties and gameseven taking the neighborhood children to a pond to select frogs for a frog-jumping contest. She was active in several socially conservative organizations concerned with education, pro-life, and current events. Patty-Bo is survived by her beloved husband, William P. Davis; her son, Kethney Davis and his wife, Sherri; her daughter, Kam Gast and her husband, Chuck; her grandchildren, Kyle, Kara, Kory, Kody, and Kasey; and her great-grandson, Finlay. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 20, at First Baptist Church of Crofton, 1690 Crofton Parkway, Crofton, where a Funeral Service also will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21. After the service, interment will be at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville. A meal for family and friends will be provided back at the church afterwards. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations.
