Denis J. Mulligan

Denis Mulligan was born February 25, 1947 to Frank and Jane Mulligan. The eldest of three children, , brother, Pat and sister, Mary. He grew up in Mt Savage, Md. A graduate of the University of Maryland, he worked first as an accountant with Stoy Malone and Company, then for Volkswagon of America. In 1985, he began working as a controller for Branch Electric Supply. He recently retired from Maurice Electric Supply in Washington DC. He married his wife, Elissa, in 1970. They have two children, Their daughter and her husband, Jason have three sons, Mitchell, Trevor and Nolan, ages 10, 8, and 6. Their son Brian and his wife Sara, have one son, Sammy, age 6, and are expecting another child. He resided in Bowie for 37 years, but recently retired to Ocean Pines, MD. Denis was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, he enjoyed golfing, reading and watching TV sports. He will be missed by his family and many friends, Denis J. Mulligan On Sunday, April 28, 2013, of Ocean Pines, MD and formerly of Bowie, MD. Beloved husband of Elissa Mulligan; devoted father of Mollie Baer and her husband Jason and Brian Mulligan and his wife Sara; dear brother of Mary Clark and Michael Patrick Mulligan; loving grandfather of Mitchell, Trevor, Sam, and Nolan. Family will receive friends at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Thursday, May 2, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 1940 Mitchellville Rd., Bowie, MD on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 10:30am.
