Patricia (Pat) Perez Primm, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, 75, of Bowie, MD, died at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 22nd, 2013 at The University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. She was born June 6th, 1937 in Gulfport, Mississippi, to Oral and Faye Perez. She married Buddy Neil Primm on January 21st, 1961 and he survives. Also surviving is her son, Tony Primm of Birdsboro, PA; one granddaughter Dianna; two nephews, Patrick and Stephen; three nieces, Sally, Kay, and Becky, and many cousins. Her father, mother, two sisters, Mary Edith and Julia Faye, and one brother, Bill, preceded her in death. Pat was a long time resident of Bowie. Her childhood and teenage years were spent in Gulfport, Mississippi, Spiro, Oklahoma, and Fort Smith, Arkansas. She graduated from Baptist Memorial located in Memphis, Tennessee with a RN in nursing in 1957. She moved to the Washington, DC area in 1959, where she met her beloved husband, Buddy, at Club Mason. She was extremely active in the community over the years. She was involved in starting a Planned Parenthood chapter and a senior center for the town of Bowie. She retired from Federal Occupational Health in 1998. She enjoyed church events, traveling, reading, computer technology, and playing bridge several times a week. The memorial service will be at 11 AM on Saturday, April 13th, 2013 at the Christian Community Presbyterian Church.
