Robert R. Kelso

Robert R. Kelso "Pop", of Bowie, died on Saturday, February 23, 2013. He was born on March 3, 1921 in Missouri. He retired as a Chief Master Sergeant from the U. S. Air Force. He was a man of strong faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma B. Kelso and his son, Robert M. Kelso. Survivors include his 2 daughters, Linda Kelso and Kathy Lambert (Kevin); 2 granddaughters, Staci Fitzgerald (Daniel) and Nicole Thompson; a grandson, Matthew Thompson; and a great-grandson, Joshua Fitzgerald. Family will receive friends at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 5001 Church Rd., Bowie from 10 to 11 am on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, with a funeral service at 11am. A private interment will be held at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Woodlawn Baptist Church, 5001 Church Rd., Bowie 20720 or to the charity of your choice.
