Carmela Rita Trasatti

Carmela R. Trasatti (nee Rappucci), of Crofton, MD, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 17, 2013. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Carmela was born on December 18, 1933 in Marcus Hook, PA to Carmine and Rose (DeAngelis) Rappucci. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sister Rose Carmel Rappucci of the Sisters of Notre Dame; and her brothers, Ralph and Anthony Rappucci. Survivors include her husband, Vincent Philip Trasatti, Sr., who she married on September 16, 1961; brothers, Lou and Joseph Rappucci; daughter, Rose Carmel and her husband James Heim; sons, Vincent Philip Jr. and his wife Karen, Andrew Frank and his wife Anita, Anthony James, Michael John and his wife Tami, Joseph Anthony and his wife Laura, and Gabriel Anthony; and 12 grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the family-owned Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 from 5 to 8pm and on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 10-11am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1800 Seton Dr., Crofton, MD at 11:30am. An additional visitation will be held at Frank C. Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Rd., Broomall, PA, on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 11am to 12noon., followed by interment in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
