Patricia A. Puleo

Puleo, Patricia Ann, of Bowie, MD, age 60, died courageously at home on December 29, 2012 with her family by her side after battling cancer for over 15 years. Daughter of the late John and Claire Ponoski of Landover Hills, MD, born on August 7, 1952 in Washington, D.C. Faithful wife of 35 years to Richard Puleo, loving mother to Richard Puleo, Jr. of Bowie, and Christina Puleo of Fairbanks, Alaska. Hopeful sister to Linda McStowe (Philip) of Lanham, Sandra Ponoski of Landover Hills, and Marie Schaeffer (William) of North Carolina. ?Devoted Nani to grandchildren Dylan and Emma Puleo. Patricia's love of children led her to teaching CCD classes at St. Edwards Church, and she was Past President of The Ladies Auxilliary for the Knights of Columbus Council #2577. ?Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. ?She leaves behind her supportive in-laws and their loving families. ? ?Patricia was a role model to other 'warriors' fighting cancer. ?Her passing has left a void in the lives of her extended family and precious friends who loved and cared for her.?
