Larry Paul Lucas

Larry was born to Lloyd (Carl) and Gloria Lucas on Dec. 14, 1953. He was preceded by his mother Gloria Lucas formally of Camp Springs, Md. and Ocean City, Md. Larry is survived by his father Lloyd Carl Lucas of Ocean City, Md. his brothers Craig Lucas (Sue) of Edgewater, Md., Chris Lucas (Denise) of Bowie, Md. and sister Shelly Lucas Martin ( Glen) of Palm Coast, Fla. He has 3 nieces, Shannon Lucas, Codye and Abbye Lucas, one nephew Daniel Martin, great nieces, Ariana, Jaicy, and one great nephew Kaleb. Larry was raised in Kingsport, Tennessee before moving to Maryland in the 60's. He was a 1971 graduate of Suitland High School, followed by service in the Army; where he was awarded two service medals. Larry was a Redskin fan, and enjoyed the Baltimore Orioles.B Burial will be private on Friday Dec. 14, 2012 at the Cheltenham Veterans Cementery, at 2:30pm in lieu of flowers/donate to Veterans Hospital of Wash. D.C.
