On Thursday, October 11, 2012, of Lothian, MD. He was a boxing champion while serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. and was a local boxing coach for 35 years. Beloved husband of the late Mary Elizabeth Allen; father of Neal Allen, Martin Allen, Ronnie Allen, Maureen Sowers, and Beverly Mannion; grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 6 to 8pm.
