Charles R. Walton On Monday, August 6, 2012, Charles R. Walton died after a long illness. He leaves his wife of 20 years, Vivian (Hearn); his son, Richard (Pattie); step-sons, Donald Meyers (Nola) Kelly Meyers (Christine); sister, Eleanor Irish (George); brother, Harold (Joyce); four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He served in WWII in the Army Air Corps, worked for Johns Hopkins APL for over 40 years, and was a member of the American Legion. Family will receive friends at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 10am-12pm, followed by a Graveside Service with Military Honors at Maryland National Memorial Park in Laurel, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Greater Maryland, 1850 York Road, Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
