Gertrude Marie Reilly-Gemmell

Gertrude "Trudy" Marie Gemmell of Crofton, died on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Crofton Care and Rehabilitation Center. Trudy was born July 20, 1924 in Bayonne, New Jersey, where she was raised, and graduated from Bayonne High School in 1942. She relocated to Maryland in 1951 where she raised her family. She worked for many years at Litton Industries in College Park, Md. and was active in the New Carrollton Garden Club and St. Mary's parish. Trudy enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her brothers, Robert and Edward Ruggirello and her son-in-law, Patrick Wilson and is survived by her children Judy Wilson of Crofton, Kathy Vienna and her husband Kevin of Coronado, CA, Bob Reilly and his wife Pamela of Laurel, John Reilly and his wife Carol of Odenton, Kevin Reilly and his wife Belinda of Memphis, TN, Peggy McNinch and her husband Eugene of Kenosha, WI, Mary Thate and her husband Tim of Gambrills, Theresa Baker and her husband Steve of Crofton, and Susan Fitzhugh and her husband Paul of Crofton; 22 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
