Tressia R. McGuire

Tressia R. McGuire, 69, died June 23 at home, in Bowie. She was born August 14, 1942, in West Virginia, to Robert and Ruby Flanagan. She worked as a Program Management Specialist at the Bursar's Office at the University of Maryland at College Park. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Bowie and also of the Kenilworth Women's Club. She is survived by her husband, Michael M. McGuire Sr.; three children, Michael M. McGuire Jr. and his wife Marianne of Odenton, Robert T. McGuire and his wife Kim of Germantown, and Lori D. McGuire of Chicago, IL; two brothers, Robert Flanagan of Hedgesville, WV and Benjamin Flanagan of Huttonsville, WV; and four grandchildren, Colin, Clare, Megan and Katelyn. There will be a visitation at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 Crain Hwy., Bowie on Wednesday June 27 from 6-8:00 pm, and a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Chapel on Thursday at 10:00 am.
